We used to be regular customers until several orders in a row we got soft half cooked chips. We visited again recently to give it one more try ordering chicken & chips. I'm sorry to say the chicken was dry and even after asking for extra crunchy chips and then confirming when they handed us the food that the chips were extra crunchy, the girl responded 'Ah yes'. Well they weren't. Most were barely cooked and some tasted almost raw. So disappointing. I will say though they have great gravy!
Based on the quality of the food, I must say that the chicken here has almost always been tender moist and perfectly flavoured. My favourite charcoal chicken place in Melton, and this shop is close to my favourite fish and chip shop in Melton Food: 4/5
Ordered on Menulog at 5.30, order arrived 6.45. When Menulog states 20-35 minutes. Called to complain and was told it was menu logs fault. Long time customer of this shop. Will not be returning. Customer care, what customer care.Food: 1/5
Always happy with the food I love their Parma packs and their chicken and chips. I always recommend this place to my new staff members and they go there and also never disappointed. The staff and owner is always nice and friendly
Not impressed with our first experience with Nagi charcoal chicken in Melton. We ordered 4x half chicken packs to share around with the whole family. But found a fly / mosquito ? On one of the fries. by then we had already eaten half of the food. Anyway, no one could finish more than half of the chicken as it was dry, greasy and very salty. The chips were soggy and some bits were overdone, and were over salted. Pasta salad was disappointing as the pasta was still hard and not cooked properly. Finding the fly / mozzie on the chips promptly ended our dinner. We spent over $50 on this meal and half of the food was chucked out. Very annoyed and disappointed. Will not be back. Edited to add to reply to owner : We ordered on Sunday 2/5/21 just before closing time. Eftpos receipt showed 7.49pm for a total of $52.60. Order was for 2x half chicken pack, 1x Hawaiian pack and 1x combo pack with 4 salads. You were already closed when we saw the fly/ mozzie and we are not keen to return.
I moved away from Melton somewhere between 10 and 15 years ago. Very glad to see my favourite chicken shop Nagi is still there and still just as good as I remember. Amazing value for money. If Nagi ever closes down they should bulldoze the entire suburb because there's nothing else worth keeping.

Today’s chicken was so juicy! Nagi is one of my favourite chicken shops in melbourne, I come at least twice a week. The staff are ever so polite and hardworking, thanks to them my family has lovely chickens for Christmas! Thank you Nagi!
I have been coming to this place for years but the quality has dropped significantly the last few months. Today I bought a whole chicken and chips and it was terrible, the chicken was obviously a day old and old stale chips were mixed into the new fresh chips plus they were over salted. I won't be coming back.
