Staff are friendly and helpful - if you can find someone. Stopped me impulse buying. Sales are good. New merchandise is either a rehash of what worked two years ago or utterly depressing. Same story at others shops too, so I just have to wait. The Myer shelves are stocked with new season items and the materials are fine so if I really need something I just have to find a design I can live with. I guess this is as good as it gets these days.
Nice place for shopping, very clean, th food court is a bit crowded on lunch time.
A high rating solely for 2 particular Staff in the shoe department. Thank you to Neil, your amazing,, calm and very professional customer service is second to none! Anelio was the ONLY staff member on the floor at a VERY busy time of the morning. People like Neil and also Catherine from the Nine West Department really demonstrate excellence in customer service, nothing was too difficult and everything was attended to with care and friendly service … again even in the midst of a crazy busy, people everywhere, time of the day!!! Thank you again - you deserve to be noted!
Have visited the chanel here a few times and the staff are always very welcoming and helpful. My favourite place to shop for gifts because the lovely ladies always put in that extra bit of effort. Excellent service!
I placed a Click and Collect order with Myer Adelaide last week and had an incredibly poor experience. I decided to utilise the click and collect service as I was time poor and needed to collect my items quickly. The items were promptly ready for collection so I visited the store, went up to level 4 to the Myer Hub and waited in line only to be told I would be unable to collect my order as the system was down. The lady at the counter was unhelpful and simply suggested I wait and see and come back later. I understand that systems can fail but as I had proof of purchase and my ID I don't understand why I was unable to collect my order. Today I called the store to explain my situation and that I would most likely not be able to make it in to store within the 21 days to collect my order before cancellation but that my partner would be in the city and to ask if she could collect on my behalf if I forwarded the email as we had the same address and I was informing them of my intention to have my partner collect it. They asked if I had nominated them to pick it up and I said that I had not as I had originally intended to come pick it up on Friday but was unable to due to the system being down. They said that they would be unable to collect it as I had not nominated them. I have now cancelled my order with Myer and my partner will go elsewhere to purchase the products. I doubt I will ever use this service or even shop at Myer again because of this experience. The staff were also incredibly condescending and were totally unhelpful in this experience which made it all the more unbearable.
Today I placed a click and collect for some MAC foundation. My partner went to pick it up, but as it wasn’t “ready” yet they wouldn’t give it to him. I understand stores have procedures but it was a small bottle of makeup. The staff member he interacted with at MAC was very rude. I rang the call centre to cancel my order. The staff member who answered my call gave me the impression they couldn’t care less and also spoke over me. My partner then went to David jones and bought the makeup for me, where the service was wonderful.
I recently visited Myer Adelaide clothing store and the cosmetics, I must say I was thoroughly impressed with my experience there. The store had a wide variety of clothing options for both men and women, ranging from casual wear to formal attire. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products, offering suggestions and helping me find exactly what I was looking for.The store was well-organized and had a clean and inviting atmosphere, making it easy to navigate and find what I needed. The clothes were displayed in a way that made it easy to see the different styles and colors, and the dressing rooms were spacious and well-lit, making it easy to try on the clothes and get a good sense of how they fit.The prices were reasonable, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had several items on sale. I ended up finding several items that I absolutely loved and couldn't resist taking home with me.Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this clothing store and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for new clothes. The wide selection of high-quality products, helpful staff, and great prices make it a one-stop-shop for all your clothing needs.
Had a great experience buying a suit for a wedding. Benjamin was extremely helpful and fitted me with a spectacular outfit. No mucking around, sized me perfectly with a jacket, shirt, pants, tie and cuff links. Organised the pants to be tailored which were ready the next day. Highly recommend
Tom from the perfume/cologne section deserves a very solid endorsement. Helpful, polite & extremely knowledgeable on virtually any scent you could mention. Tom has a level of professionalism & customer service that I didn't think even existed any more.
