Saddest beef bibimbap.. with what seems like a teaspoon of ground beef for more than 20 dollars. Side dishes were skimpy for three people, and arrived after the mains. We had to ask the lady for water twice as well as scissors for the cold noodles. Cold noodles and stir fried squid tasted great, but it was not worth the price we paid for.
I have been here before at least 4 times . However I have always ordered bossam or cold noodles , spicy squid and was really happy about it . But today I m really surprised how it turned out . About fried chicken It’s really soggy ….. not crunchy at all Very different than other Korean fried chicken I have ever had . The quality of chicken thighs is pretty succulent, but the cook method is really disappointing! Very disappointing, please improve your formulation Bossam : today is pork is really dry and hard to chew … 2/5 Amazing spicy radish as always . The fish cake and the soup is really fishy in a very strong way ..::: I can’t have any ……. But the bean sprouts and Kimichi are always delish . Female FOH is really friendly .
Chicken was so nice and soft! yummy but one things little bit disappointing that was no soup like all potatos smashed in soup look so messy. Side dish was so good Kimchi soooo delicious. The best kimchi in NZ
Delicious food and excellent service. This is one of our favourite Korean restaurants! The most outstanding dishes are the fried dumplings, beef bone soup, and sizzling meat dishes. Really good portions at reasonable prices.Food: 5/5
Ordered the worst kimichi jigae I’ve seen in my entire life 5 pieces of tiny pork kimchi water and tofu got scammed don’t come here it was 20$. The rice cakes were 14 and were also insanely tiny
I've been to many Korean Restaurants that are super generous with their sides, Myung Dong is my local Korean go to for Kal Gaksu which is is great, but they are very stingy with their sides that come with it. I hope they do better.
Had 2 dishes Mandu kal guksu: soup has various ingredients in it and its very plain. mandu is great Makguksu: makguksu by itself taste very fresh and source has sweet and sour flavors. All food served is thumbs up!
Beautiful foodtastes so good. would be great if we can make the salmon more tender.
Nice cosy restaurant in the heart of Takapuna, with authentic Korean food. Would recommend to anyone if you are in the area.
Amazing Korean dishes especially the BBQ Chicken is highly recommended.... Try some soju with their signature starters
