This place has really really delicious food. I had the fettucini something or other and my girlfriend had this slow cooked lamb in gnocchi and salsa Verde but it also had fig. It was a really well balanced meal. So delicious. Might go back before we leave just to try the other stuff on the menu.
Nice family place located centrally with a good, casual vibe. Staff are friendly and efficient. The pizzas were a very pleasant surprise and are recommended! They are a bit generous so consider sharing.
My experience with this restaurant is...okay. The food wasn't anything special to brag to your friends about. I had the pesto pasta, which left me wanting more. It came in a bowl about twice the size of the meal itself. The proportion size just seemed off. Luckily the other two people I came with didn't finish their meals so I was able to try theirs. They had two pizza's, one with salmon and the other with chicken can't remember all the exact toppings. Theirs too were very lackluster and left us was wanting more. The place is very deceiving, since it can get very crowded. It's just disappointing about the quality of the food. However, the staff is very friendly so there's a plus.
Pizzas are awesome, seafood seems to be the best. It gets busy, but the kitchen still gets the food out quickly. It's on Macrossan Street, so nothing remarkable about the views, but it's central so convenience is great. Service is good too.
My 9 year old son said that the meat balls was the best meal he has ever had. 10/10. He even went and thanked the chef. We really enjoyed all the food and friendly staff and lovely surroundings. Definitely give it a go! Great restaurant!!!!
Best customer service in the southern hemisphere! I was in port Douglas for a week, and I ended up going to this place 4 times. The lasagna is the best I have ever had. You wont regret ordering it! Also check out the cane road racing down the road. We had a blast.
Food wasn't too bad, however too average. Service lacks on professionalism. We were served for 5 different people... They brought the bill to your table twice without asked if we would like to have something else. Do not recommend this place for anyone. Only giving it 2 stars because the food as OK.
went here on a Wednesday night for steak night. $6 steaks that are really good 200g+ wagyu and come with mash. there are add ons reasonably priced too that are good. we had a bottle of wine that was reasonably priced and very good. friendly attentive staff all while very busy, keep up the good work, guys!
Really nice meal at a decent price. I had the fetucini carbonara. It was a big portion and tasted great. The waitress forgot the cracked pepper though and then took ten minutes to bring it over we had already mostly finished our meal. Chalked this one up to the fact this place is so new. It certainly looks great and has a good feel. Marked down one star because they charge 80c for eftpos - that's crazy in this day.
Very good food and good atmosphere. We went on a monday because they had a 2 for 1 deal pizza or pasta. For the price paid and the quality of the food I will completely recommend this place if you want to go for Italian food.
