Beautiful place and the pizza is delicious but they don't have much variety. The day I went there was hhapy hour and the prices were really very good for beer and pizza. Very nice atmosphere of backpackers, young people and some adults on vacation.
This is THE closest to a real Neopolitan Pizza that I have found anywhere for decades. Haven't found Pizza bases with this authenticity anywhere in Australia yet. Sauce and fillings were just so too. Atmosphere was excellent as well. I'll be back very soon.
A very fun night out and one of the most incredible Seafood pastas I have ever had. Was so impressed. Very different vibe sitting out on the grass watching cane road racing but the food was so much better then expected
Fantastic little open-air spot with limited indoor seating - great, attentive service. Ordered the fish of the day, freshly caught nearby as pointed out by our waiter, who is also a crewmember on the trawler and the Italian sausage pizza. Both were very tasty!
Mixed reviews about this place! Pizzas were lovely and tasty recommend the seafood pizza and it’s a very relaxed, informal atmosphere with a good vibe! Unfortunately for us the service was very arrogant! Like they were doing us a favour Upon arrival we were greeted by a very unfriendly female wait person who was happy to take our money for the cane toad racing and then proceeded to point to our table at the back of the restaurant and said over there! No taking us to our table, no menus, no explanation on the ordering process table service or go up and order….and they were not busy! My wife then stood at the bar for 20 mins as there was only one bar person who was doing her very best and was very friendly to keep up whilst 3 other members of staff stood arms folded across the other side of the restaurant watching her get slammed…...what happened to team work! No wonder she was leaving the business! Cane toad racing, although fun was a complete scam! You pay $5 for a ticket to be in the 1st race we purchased 2 tickets to then realise your only in the race if your ticket gets pulled from a hat! surely this should be explained when u purchase the tickets Maybe they could of done more races so everyone that purchased tickets got a chance. The second race was then a bidding auction of who wanted to pay additionally for a toad to be in the race! Can’t help but think it was all about scamming the tourist! I would recommend a visit for the pizzas but please remind your staff of the essence of good, friendly customer service…especially in the current climate where customers are few and far between!
Pizzas were great. Expensive but great. No table service for orders. Vegetarian options: Yep Kid-friendliness: Yep Parking: Easy Wheelchair accessibility: And roll in. Easy
Fantastic atmosphere outside. Pizza was really good. Beer was cold. Staff were excellent... Found us a table when we didn't book..they will always get my top points for doing that. Fully recommended...remember this is not 5 star dining....but I loved it.Food: 4/5
We came mostly for the cane toad racing but it was just our luck it wasn't running tonight. Despite not having the fun aspect of the cane toad racing, the atmosphere was really magical with all the fairy lights & our children loved it. Food was amazing. Hot tip, make sure you've slapped on the mozzie cream before you get there. Overall, a great night out.
We came here to watch the cane toad racing. It was hilarious. A really unique experience! The staff were so friendly and we were able to find a seat even though we didnt have a booking but it gets so busy so I would recommend booking ahead as the pizzas smelt incredible.Atmosphere: 5/5
Such a great place! Very relaxed, welcoming to families, great service and great food using great produce! A favourite venue of mine in Port D! Oh and the cane toad racing! Adds a difference, is entertaining without imposing on the diners.
