Nice place. It is only big shopping mall in Darwin.
Easy went in at 9:20 was out inn10 minutes. Forget the man’s name who served me but he has tattoos on his arms, very friendly helped me download app so I could do everything online next time . Only issue no hand sanitizer in dispenser next to touch screen. Went to other one which was blocked and squirted me onto shirt . Anyway way more pleasant than other trips to MVR. Trick is to go early in morning I think before it gets busy & hot

I returned my old WA plates and on the receipt for the plates you guys dated it the year 2025 And instead of getting a new receipt like I asked for because WA had recommend that so I wouldn’t have to come in a 3rd time. They just scribbled over the top of the 5 with a 1 then sighed not even close to the correction cross out the 5 put the 1 next to the 5 you just crossed out then your signature close to the correction you just made When I had stated that I had spoken to WA about the issue the lovely man started acting like it was WA that had the problem! Pretty sure they at least know what year we are in and know the importance of having the correct date!! On this one receipt I have corrections made on address’ Make of vehicle and wrong year It’s only a $800 refund I’m waiting on!!! You having a bad attitude about WAs system doesn’t make up for the fact you did your job wrong and waisted other people’s time.
Very disappointed went to renew my licence only to find it closed at 1100am on a Wednesday morning
The phone number attached to the Casuarina MVR links you up to someone who is not from the Casuarina MVR branch. I received incorrect instructions in regards to acquiring the 10 year free licence from the phone number listed for the Casuarina MVR so when I visited them locally, I was given different instructions. A year ago, I was eligible to receive my free licence but the receptionist inside the Casuarina MVR informed me that I still needed to hold the P licence for 1 more year, even though I kept saying that I'm over the age of 26, as supported with my documents and P licence. I ran through a program called DriveSafe NT which used to only support persons between the age of 16-25 but in 2018, it was updated to be from 16-open. This allowed me to join the program and successfully pass the P test. I was instructed last year that I had to wait until my licence expired to be eligible to apply for the free licence and that my P licence card can be treated as an open licence until the following year which is present time. So when I visited Casuarina MVR as instructed by the Casuarina MVR supposed caller, after she consulted with her supervisor twice and called me back a couple of times to update me on the 'issue', I was told that I am NOT eligible as it has been 6 months since my P licence expired. I explained to them the above events and they got the same answer from their supervisor different from the supervisor who assisted the caller, and after being left hanging for some time, they told me that I had to get a new photo taken. I was assured from the caller person that they could use my old photo, that's why I rushed to the local MVR. The local MVR told me differently and so I am left with a new photo that looks like a mug shot, as I have let's call it a very messy face. A friend of mine also had the same story with their MVR experience who informed them that they had to come 2 years after the date set when they got their P licence, and guess what? A different MVR receptionist informed them that it was 1 year not 2 years, as they were over the age of 26, like my situation. Ridiculous service. An elderly gentleman summed it nicely, in my visit today. He complained in front of everyone sitting and standing that the MVR are a joke with 2 out of the 3 people going on break at 12:30pm and there was a full room. And I can't blame him.
No help at all, just wanted to find out why I can't register car and was told that "we can't help you", wasn't told why or what to do...sick of dealing with people who hate their job! They treat you like it's your fault they hate their job and subsequently hate their life..
Perfect place for Northern Suburbs to get and renew licences and rego. Nice location, enough parking area, staffs are good and helpful. Love this place. At least once a year, everyone has to go there...
Public servants just doing their jobs fellow Googlers. Sure it is congested at times but when your ticket is called - it's nothing but competance, pleasantness and good customer service. My unwavering experience over many visits.
Worst service. Long waiting time, only 2/3 people provide services. I applied for licence renewal but didn't get it more than one months.
