Great spot to have some family beach time. The walk to mairangi bay is lovely, and jumping off the wharf is fun to do together.
Perfect walkway to unwind and escape the crowds on Boxing Day. Easy to forget that you're in a big city!
Beach has awesome trees to sit under if you prefer to sit in the shade. There are also changing rooms and toilets for public use. Perfect for all ages to enjoy.

This place has such great views of rangitoto island , it's also a very busy fishing place along the walkway bridge and a popular place for bombing. There also a great walkway from along the coast going from beach to beach when it's low tide. Try it on a lovely day, very refreshing :
Beautiful place and there's a ramp to do Bombs
Nice cosy little beach but parking nearby is limited. The tidal pool is a nice touch, especially for toddlers and the other littlelies.
Good place; need more shower facility and visitor parking.
