Murray River Holiday Park

A lovely park. Very well kept grounds. Very clean facilities. Pet friendly and best of all friendly, helpful owners . Very popular so book ahead to avoid missing out on a great park. It's only the 2nd park that we have found with a dog wash facility. 4 1/2 stars in my book.

This place's management sucks along with all the other services. On October 26th, 2013 we posted a review on trip advisor: We checked in on Saturday afternoon. The cabin was clean but rooms were small and without wardrobe, toilets/ bath without shampoo/ conditioner. The entire fridge was empty. No milk was available for tea. When I asked , I was told that I should purchase myself. There was only one set of teabags. Wherever we went we never had issues as small as making tea multiple times. However when we requested more , we did not get them before it seemed like too much effort for the owner to supply them. On top of that the owner made us feel like the customer is wrong asking for multiple tea bags. I will not recommend this to anyone. To which , here was the management response: Upon reading your review I think it becomes obvious that you would have been better suited to Resort style accommodation or in fact a Hotel/Motel situation. Caravan Parks do not have a 24 hour reception or room service and we do not advertise our reception hours as being 24/7. Tea bags...You failed to mention in your review that you rang the Emergency After Hours Bell and woke us up, to request tea bags. A few minutes later I got dressed and took the Tea Bags down to your cabin. Pretty good service I would think. Our Budget Cabins are fully self contained/self catering units and as such the fridge is purposely left empty so guests can put their perishables away when they check in. We don't have mini bars in our park cabins Tea bags...You failed to mention in your review that you rang the Emergency After Hours Bell and woke us up, to request tea bags. Milk.....actually, when you arrived I informed you that our delivery of milk portions had not arrived. Now, what kind of tourist friendly accommodation will respond like this?? Great value for money. Free BBQ event on Australia Day was amazing.

Lovely little caravan park,clean toilets and nice warm showers, people very friendly and they had no problem with my big American Bulldog,I would stay again,walking distance to club/pokies if that's your go,also shops and take away, highly recommend 👍
