Amazing food!! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to eat not your standard Indian food! Especially the items on the street food side were great! Food was all consistently great and came out quickly.... Love the decor and concept will be back for sure!
Incredible food! We had an excellent selection of vegetarian takeaway items. Everything was very flavourful, and had just the right amount of heat. We would highly recommend the Dabeli. When we went in for pickup, the atmosphere of the restaurant seemed amazing, and we were blown away by the delicious smells from the kitchen. They offer a 10% discount on pickup order which is a nice touch.
Fantastic restaurant. The food is exquisitely stunning. If you have not been here get here soon. You won't be disappointed. Easily the best Indian cuisine you'll find. Flavors and spices are next level amazing.Food: 5/5
Nice place, nice ambience and nice people. The food quality and quantity was good. Neat and tidy place. Really nice and tasty preparations, according to our taste. Giving 4 stars only because of the prices, they were expensive.
As soon as you walk into this restaurant, you will have a good impression of it. My only question is whether the food here can be compared with its beautiful layout and great atmosphere. The good news is that the food here is also delicious. The naan cakes are delicious, the rice is soft, the food is as good as I requested, and the flavor is full.
It just feels like you're in Bombay/Mumbai the food served here is so delicious and lip-smacking I would recommend having Tandoori Chicken Kebabs not quite sure what they mentioned in their menu though, We ordered Chai was good too, the way of serving it with the Tea biscuit Parle G Pav Bhaji was tasty tooFood: 5/5
Best Indian food without any food colours in christchurch I would say..A bit pricy but worth it. If you are a good Indian food lover it would cost you atleast a $50 to fill up.
I had not planned to go to Mumbaiwala, was just browsing what was around and open when I started feeling hungry. Very happy with my choice, the restaurant atmosphere was great and not overly busy so I had my choice of table, the staff were polite and attentive, I just has a simple meal, but it was delicious, prices may be slightly higher than average for some dishes, but I would happily eat here again.
So I was so excited to get food from this place after reading the reviews. I tried ordering thru door dash as they had a promo. I had samosas which was just okay, the tamarind dip though was good. And onion bhajis--which were overcooked? Burnt? Idk, perhaps this is just a one time thing. Still keen to try and dine in, perhaps it will be different. Door dash was quick to give a credit though.
Horrible food. We went there to have some tea and something to snack on as we were in Christchurch. We did ask for the owner to come and have a chat but the lady never turned up but she put her wait staff as a buffer. The tea was equally horrible. I have added a picture of the sev puri for your reference which costs about $17. Make your choices wisely. Chur!!
