This place has come a long way since the management changed. From 1 star food and service to 5 stars now. We were welcomed by a lovely lady and directed towards the table. We had no booking but got a really nice table. Still recommend booking ahead they get really busy. We ordered paneer tikka to share, paneer butter masala and vegan bhuna with onion kulcha and tandoori roti. We did even make some special requests like extra crispy roti and oh god our server did noted everything and indeed was delivered by kitchen. Only down side was water was not offered as we sat down but I can let that pass no issues there mistakes happen. Effort and service from the server was top notch and food was just amazing right hotness and quantity. We will be many and bring few others too!!! Good job guys
We went here for our last night in Christchurch and food are quite delicious. My favourites are the mango lassi, best I've had in NZ. Tandoori chicken nibbles dip in tamarind chutney is also yummy. Staff friendly and efficient
Had a lovely meal. The lamb biriani and the eggplant was absolutely divine. Thank you for your prompt and friendly service
They will rob you! Served half quantity curries at more price than many better restaurants in Christchurch. Also they won't give you good place to seat unless you took banquet option. Landed here just seeing the ambience. But ended up sitting in poor spot with heavy bill and half quantity curries.
We visited in August 2022 and had a great experience. Compared to many restaurants in Auckland that just seem to only be in it for the money, this place really delivered. We ended up dining here twice during our stay and the service was neat, as was the food. Prices from memory were also good for what we received so thank you for that! I would recommend this restaurant as it has great atmosphere, great service and great food.
This Chilli chicken with two garlic Naan ordered on uber Saturday night has given me a lot of problems I still feel the burns in my chest and have been burping non stop .... chicken also wasn't cooked properly I hope this doesn't lead to something bad
We enjoyed a family meal at Coriander's city restaurant tonight. Fast service and great flavors. Busy but not too full on a Wednesday night. Thanks to the staff, especially our waiter Anuj :Food: 5/5
If you are strolling around the city and want to try Indian food with great authentic ambience and visual Artefacts, look no further. Plenty of options in the menu, gluten free and dairy free options available too. All n all nice food!
Terrible, their starters; flavorless. Not what I expected from Indian chefs choice starters. Second it was a Monday there were only 3 tables in the whole restaurant, it took them almost two fycking hours and we were waiting for our mains still. Waste of time for for average starters so we were annoyed. Save your money and go to Bush Inn they do not disappoint this is our regular. However, I will add the Manger made amens with us when they realised the mistake from waiting so long and still no main. So credit due to the manager thank you for correcting this!
Best jalfrezee in the South Island! So tasty. Had Anuch not sure of spelling today and he was very friendly. Other servers in the past have been very helpful too. Highly recommend trying it out; great vegan options
