Website says they shut at 4:50pm, I arrived at 4:30pm after loading up the car only to be told they were closed. When I told them that's not what their website says, they changed their mind and told me I couldn't leave my rubbish because the bins were full.

It's usually pretty good although this afternoon there was an old man working there on a power trip, he requested to see my ID then informed me that the little load I had which was exactly 2 wheelbarrows  worth would take too long to unload, I informed him that I had myself and a friend to unload it and that I would be out of there quicker than the person before me that I had to wait for he went on to inform me that I would create too much dust from 2 wheelbarrows of clay from a water leak I had at my home and told me to go to ready creek. I guess he has to justify his useless employment some way or another. The next time I witness an employee of the council on a power trip I will ignore them and unload my rubbish regardless. It's what I pay my rates for after all

Tip was completely empty, not a single car. But I was disallowed because my number plate didn’t start with an Even Number today due to new covid rules? So instead they sat there doing nothing as I drove off with a full load. So stupid. Use some discretion and brains.

Super handy when cleaning up the yard, busy on the weekends so be warned.  Unsure why they need security directing traffic when there are always a bunch of staff standing around chatting.

I absolutely love how dedicated the Aussie government is to recycling. It's something so beautiful to see when people have access to well maintained facilities to properly dispose of waste and materials.

A great service with top staff. I love visiting to drop off rubbish, recyclables and items for the charity boxes.

A service that the Gold Coast City Council should never stop providing, Friendly staff and convenient location.

Great place to go. Helpful staff and a possitive experience
