MTC's productions are increasingly patchy, but 37 was excellent, both well staged and well acted.
I took a large school group to a theatre production in June. They were super responsive to emails, accommodated changes, and the staff on the day were helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was a hassle for them.
Such a convenient location, the theatre space is flexible and easy disabled access. The connected cafes have great food and offer quick service to ensure you get to the theatre on-time.
Small and compact theater with reasonable viewing angles of the stage. Found the backdrop of flooring and curtains very dark for the flamenco presentation I brought tickets to and ventilation could have been better. Also inside staff must go further in accomodating those who are elderly and need of ease of access to stairs as they failed to facilitate this for us dispite asking, and what was questionable their reserved seats with ease of access where left to late comers instead? Otherwise a great night with Spanish culture.
Loved the atmosphere. View is literally okay in any seat. We got row k seat 23 and 24 and was not much of a disappointment. However it's a bit difficult to tell the expressions on the cast's faces from that seat. The picture I've attached is a bit exaggerated in distance since it is an ultra wide cut. Would recommend seats closer to the stage if interactions with the show matters to you!
Smaller boutique theatre that's a bit sterile but has good stage design to provide a blank canvas & maximise the space
A fascinating building and piece of contemporary architecture a beautiful venue staffed by great and friendly people. Highly recommended to visit at daytime as the building is quite something during sunset.
Great foyer and bar, stylish detailing and design. Very easy to find your way around. Comfortable seats with good sight lines.
Whilst the production was enjoyable, the venue was extremely uncomfortable and of concern. Seats extremely packed next to each other, no leg room other than to sit with flexed knees for duration of production no weight issues BTW. In addition, only one exit and entry point! Will not be attending this venue again. Ventilation questionable.
Lovely theatre, pleasant staff, clean toilets , nice cafe next door. 2 and 3 hr parking in Grant/Dodds St
