Nice large spacious library . The material seating needs an upgrade - the sponge infill and cotton covered seating are past their use by date. Uncomfortable for prolong seating doing studying and covers look no longer hygienic. There is a very active kids area back of library as too in the front of house - table study area - can be quite noisy both kids an the over zealous facilitator when activities are booked for kids at back of library . The secondary front of house - kids colouring / games “activity area “near table study area should have please be quiet signs - —-or relocate the “ activity” area. To the back with the other kids area.nThe facility is a Library. Perhaps signs on the entry section - advising quiet please and guardians of children please be mindful of all users of library .
My family and I absolutely love this library. There is plenty of space with a huge range of books for adults and kids alike. There are plenty of computers, digital media and even comics if you prefer them.nI was impressed by how quickly and easily you can check out your books via the laser scanners that will instantly scan the entire pile of books etc at once. No need to do them one by one.nAnother great feature of this high class library is that if you incur a late fee you have the option of bringing in some canned goods to give to be given to charity for those most in need instead of paying the fee.nThe librarians are very knowledgeable and so pleasant and friendly. A big difference to the librarians of my youth.nThere is a fantastic kids area that has a projection mat that kids can interact with and includes comfy spots for parents to enjoy watching/reading together. Kids really lovethe bath tub as a quirky place to read.nLove coming here. Highly recommended.
Good environment but definitely the loudest library I've been. Parents have no control of children and staff is not intervene to keep loud customers quiet. It would be great if the concept of library can be taught to the children who visit the facility.
Great library, nice variety of seating and well maintained. The library obviously needs to cater to different needs, so individuals should bring ear plugs or head phones if they sensitive to noise.
The library staff are amazing so helpful.
