This has to be the best health food store in North Brisbane. Their variety is unmatched. The store was renovated a year or more ago and it is much nicer now and they also have an organic coffee shop inside. My only criticism is that their prices are quite high and some of the organic food prices are inflated, in my view. Unfortunately there is not enough competition in this area of health stores and we are left having to pay an exaggerated premium for the products in this store. I am including a range of photos to give you some sense of the range of brands but there is much more in store.
Good products but terrible service when you call twice in one day to ask if they definitely sell milk thistle tincature, then drive 30 minutes to buy and told they don't have it in stock. Thanks, can I get a refund for those 30 minutes I'm never going to get back please?
Today I went into the store to buy some herbs to support someone with Covid and the naturopath on duty an older man kept telling me Covid isn’t real it’s a hoax. My partner said she had it a month ago and he said no sweetie you didn’t. This is the last time we ever use this store.
Love this place, staff are always welcoming and fantastically down to earth.
After having spent $1000's over the last several years shopping at Flannerys stores throughout QLD, I attempted to return a protein powder product 1 day after I had purchased it because it contained cacao which adversely affected my sleep. The product has a high amount of cacao which is a known stimulant - just google it. I was simply wanting to exchange the product and its the first time I have ever returned a product to that store other than mouldy bread they sold me. The woman that served me spoke to the store manager who said that there is no stimulant in the ingredients and because it had been opened could not be returned or exchanged. What an appalling, disgraceful way to treat a long time customer. It was at that moment I realised this business was all about profit and could not care less about the very customers who keep them in business. Needless to say Flannerys will not get another $1 from me. What I took away from this was an excellent example of how NOT to run a business.
Not a bad business, but you need to answer the phone there. I just move on to another store who answers the phone so I can ask them if they have what I need and if its in stock. This happens everytime I ring. Your customers are going elsewhere.
Always great service and I can always pick up some specials. Good range of food and good value.
We have been a customer for 20 years -- a wonderful store! The current Manager, Linda, who has been there for more than 10 years I think, is just amazing, and Paul is a very dedicated staff member as well.
The coffee is divine. Aidan makes a mean Cappuccino!
Amazing friendly atmosphere! Great coffee, large range of products at great prices. Staff are super helpful especially the manager, she is full of really helpful knowledge and will always find a way to go above and beyond.
