Coffee consistently good, staff are always friendly, food always use to be of good quality! However, unfortunately over the past 2 months a real decline in the food, 3 seperate meals different days.. 3 refunds needed.. cold food, and very poor quality. Not sure if ownership has changed, but a real decline in quality to what Mr Pilgrims use to be. Perhaps just the location which keeps it thriving now!!

Loved it! Great food, presentation is awesome, accepted American Express! Not sure why people would go to overrated places like Capital Kitchen. Would happily recommend mr pilgrim.

We went here because capital kitchen was closed on a public holiday. So thankful we did! Food was amazing and this will be our new regular brunch place. Also they accept Amex!

tried ordering breakfast for x3. I was told that poached eggs could not be changed to scrambled. - It was only for this item on the menu only. Then ordered the second item which contained chorizo and asked for it without that as I dont eat pork. Then they said it was because they were busy (mind you the cafe was half full only). I was at the cafe a week ago and they had no issues changing items around then. I then spoke to the person who claimed to be the Manager and told him What world was he living in with hes inflexibility. This is an al a carte menu from a breakfast menu. Many people have dietary and other requirement in life. Listen to your customers, we are the paying ones. Hes response was he was the former owner of a very successful cafe elsewhere and he knows what he is doing. pathetic

Loved this place. Staff are incredibly friendly and go out of there way to help you. The place was very busy with lots of prams but the staff managed it so well and even found time to have a quick chat. Food was delicious. Ordered the blueberry pancakes. Well prepared and very fluffy and filling. The white hot chocolate was delicious and very cute presentation
