We just had a beautiful dinner at Mr. Hoddle in South Yarra. We didn't know what to expect as the restaurant just opened a month ago but we were pleasently surprised. The decor is very tasteful and the restaurant feels very glamorous. We had the Octopus and calamari for starters, both dishes were to die for! For mains we had the seafood pasta and the Capricosa pizza, both were very tasteful and authentic Italian meals. We will definitely add Mr. Hoddle to our favourite restaurants list.
We had the calamari, chicken wings and prawn pizza. The chicken wings were a bit disappointing but the calamari was amazing! I also had the unicorn tears cocktail and it was decent. We booked via Eatclub and had 40% off which made it worth it.
Bottomless brunch idea was great. Better execution needed to bring this up to a 5 stars. I would go back for a second try though! Food great and drinks were also good. Staff seemed really busy so was hard to order more drinks and food.
Great aesthetic, horrible service. There were several mix ups during the ordering process, and blatantly inexperienced staff. Our food took a long time to come out regardless of the empty restaurant. Food was borderline decent and cold when it was finally brought out. Wholly overpriced. Overall, not the best experience. Hopefully, it can only improve from here
DELICIOUS pizza! We popped into Mr Hoddle for date night and it was excellent. Great vibe, friendly staff, relaxed and cozy. Perfect date night spot. Highly recommend.
I just went to have a coffee today. The coffee is very nice and place is beautiful. I wanna come to have lunch with my friends someday. Staff is very attentive and caring. Overall, this is beautiful place to hangout.
The bottomless brunch here last Saturday was fab!! A great atmosphere with the DJ in the front terrace, it was busy and had a really good vibe. Pizza was delicious and drinks flowed quickly. I would highly recommend, best bottomless brunch. A big up to the staff who looked after us. See you next time!
Had my 21st birthday dinner here with approx 20 people which I booked last minute, and everything was perfect. The space was nice and open and our table was next to a big open window, which was nice because of the warm weather. Everyone also loved the food and drinks! Wasn’t my first time here and won’t be my last! Massive thank you to the owner and staff who looked after us, also the chefs who worked wonders and got our beautiful food to us fast
The bottomless brunch was amazing!! All of the staff were very attentive and made sure we had lots to eat and drink! Vince’s Jack secret sangria was beautiful. Highly recommend 11/10, thanks Charlie!
Had an amazing lunch at Mr Hoddle!!! Staff were fantastic, as soon as I can offered water for the table. I went straight for a cocktail because the menu was irresistible recommend the “old fashioned” For dinner had cabonara Wood fire pizza and homemade cut chips. Will definitely be back. Shout out to the staff, they worked very well. :
