I often think about the crispy eggs from Mr Hendricks.  The rest of the menu looks great too, but the crispy eggs have a hold on me..I am yet to branch out.  Outdoor area is awesome- different levels and shady with the trees. Also, the knives are cool   Good location. Easy parking up the side street. 109 tram right there.

Absolutely delicious and delectable. Not the last time I’ll be here.  Their coffee to start with was great. A little more butter than I like it long black, but a nice different.  The food was absolutely mind blowing though. The French toast was amazing! It’s done with their own flair and twist, not something over ever had before anywhere else and just fall off your chair, call home good.

The staff are friendly. There have large dinning area just at the back of the house. The hot cake taste differently , especially the texture, a little bit crispy outside but puffy and soft inside. The prawns sandwich is large protion.

Great food, good decor and very friendly staff except for the male staff member at the counter. He was disgruntled and moody, and was visibly annoyed when trying to work out which table we were at to settle the bill. This minor bad experience didn't spoil our otherwise enjoyable lunch but regrettably cannot be a 5 star rating.

One word. Fantastic scotch egg. The inside was runny and the outside was crispy to perfection. You have to try their scotch egg. It comes with smoked ham hock. Amazing combination. A must try of you like scotch egg.

Mr. Hendricks  - Chocolate Brioche French Toast $21.5    W/ blueberry mascarpone custard, black cherry gel, dehydrated fruit and marshmallow - Mushroom Scramble $21.5   Scrambled eggs W/ feta, bacon, chilli, mushroom fricassee, sourdough toast and fried shallots - Soy latte $5 - Mocha $5  I’m so thrilled to find this little gem in the Eastern suburb. We were sat at a beautiful courtyard. The ambiance was excellent. Both dishes we ordered were absolutely stunning! Their french toast had a rich chocolate flavour. The brioche was soft and fluffy. I love how the tanginess of the berries cut through the sweetness of the toast  I will definitely revisit this cafe soon

Very nice food, we came for the outdoor sitting but it was already full even though we had a booking. The indoor area can get quite busy with other customers coming in to get takeaway coffee and pastries. Had to wait a bit for staff to come get our orders, also took a while for the food to come.

Excellent meals, each one has something a bit unique and different, beautiful presentation, delicious. Good service, very busy so a bit of a delay for meals but they kept our drinks topped up. Great for brunch and lunch

Nice cosy cafe on a drizzly cold winters day.  The muffin was warm and delicious. My teens loved the chicken burger and hot chocolate.

Good coffee, amazing crossiants and the french brioche toast is a must try if you visit here.
