Movenpick Ice Cream

Movenpick ice-cream is most certainly some of the most delicious ice-cream I have tasted. We found the service here to be lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our sundaes. The only real complaint we could make about the menu, and the only reason I am giving it 4 stars is the huge contrast in size between the dine in and takeaway sundae. For future reference - takeaway sundae for the win!

Friendly staff but really bad taste. Especially when you just had Messina with the same flavours - mango was not real mango instead it's made of mango flavour and same for the chocolate - it was chocolate sauce... Changing to 3 stars I lost my stuff there and they kept it safe and returned to me. But the taste was not good ...

I always cone here for the ice cream which is awesome but today i order a waffle and its the most pathetic waffle i have ever tasted. My friend who i shared with hated it too, its some really low quality microwaved dough, not crispy at all

Usually my go too dessert place, but this has left a bad taste in my mouth. We ordered a Affogato and sat in, 2mins later, we decided to order more ice cream. 3 scoops. The girl without asking scoops it into 3 takeaway cups, and charges $17.95. But in the menu 3 scoops is $9.95. After asking why we was charged that, she said we charge each scoop in each cup, and cup charge, I guess. We didn’t ask for takeaway cups, we just wanted 3 scoops of ice cream, but if you have one bowl or plate of ice cream with 3 scoops it’s $9.95. Well good to know. We was dinning in and she serves us takeaway cups... teach your staff to ask questions and know who’s dinning in and who’s taking away.. Really not happy with being ripped off like that..

Always a friendly staff. This time around tried the chocolate lava cake along with swiss ice cream. It had pistachio flakes around and tastes quite good. A big fan of their creamy ice creams. Quick and easy grab and the place is conveniently located along George street.

One of my favourite desserts. There is a lot less of the trends and toppings than some of the more trendy places but this has left time for a better quality ice cream. Wide varieties of flavours that are rich and creamy. Try the waffle bowls, you won't regret it.

The service was good. But I am not sure about their ice cream... it's so sickly sweet that I couldn't finish it. And I am someone that can eat a small tub of quality ice cream on my own.

Ladies at the counter were very nice and helpful. Pricing is a bit high but the buy 1 get 1 free scoop deal was awesome! Decent range of flavours and food. Clean vibrant hang out atmosphere. Mango sorbet & lemon & lime sorbet was delicious. Perfect sourness and consistency.

Delicious ice cream, great for a quick or long dessert time. Movenpick's ice creams have consistenly been intense, never disappointing whatever I choose. This venue has plenty of comfy seats to sit around and spend some time with your group.
