What a great place to stay! We had 3 families, so 13 of us and the kids had a lovely time sleeping all together in the club saloon area on one side of the property and the adults had a relaxing time with loads of space on the other side. The big kitchen along with the bbq allowed us to cook our family meals and the open fire was very enticing. The kids enjoyed running out when the trains were coming and getting the driver to toot at them. Great location with the lovely Stirling just a few minutes walk away too. All aspects of comfort are thought about and attended to and it was so good not having to bring all the bedding and towels etc. I would recommend a stay at MLRS without hesitation. Thanks Jim

Fantastic place to stay with the family or a quiet get away and unbeatable if your a train fan. 45min drive to the most beautiful beaches, mountains, Adelaide City or McLaren Vale wine region it makes a nice central base. Self contained with cooking facilities and a laundry are handy if you have kids, and the rooms are well equipped with extra towels, open fire, extra blankets and air con. 5mins drive to Stirling with grocery shops, chemist, cafes ect. Jim the owner is most hospitable and welcoming. Definitely would stay again :-)
