Went here a lot. My family once adored this place, the hard working staff included. I was quite impressed with the level of service and respect for the customers (not to mention the staff members who would lit up a persons day, always loved to see them!). But then that really changed, the older man and his partner who ran the place started becoming quite rude and mean to staff members in front of the public, even spewing at their manager. The worst part was when the consistently targeted a staff member who appeared quite young and was always smiling. Wasn’t very nice to watch. That being said the food was incredible! My respect and applause for the chef/s! But this cafe was just brought down so much by outbreaks by the owners towards the staff members in front of children. I’d love to be shown that these things I’ve witnessed were a one time occurrence, but that appears not to be. My advice? If you do visit enjoy the food and staff! Really incredible, but if you see the owner and his wife then run!

Great location. Funky looking 70's inspired diner style restaurant with some cool displays, tasty burgers & meals, nice cold drinks & a good outdoor deck for customers to have lunch. Popular location for visitors & bike riders. Recommended for all ages!

Amazing place to have a great brekkie or lunch and watch the motorbikes. Very good coffee, loved the pulled pork sandwich and the milkshakes are quiet huge. Just a bit pricey but absolutely worth a visit.

Really friendly staff and good food. The whole vibe of the place has improved since the change of management. Owner seems keen to provide a high level of service. Brekky is great and heaps of motorcyclists use the place as a coffee / feed stop off. All in all highly recommended for a good feed and a nice vibe. EDIT: (13/11/17) Just had a look at some of the negative reviews and I'm really surprised. I've been coming up here regularly for years and find the current owner and staff great. Reading the details of some of the complaints I have trouble reconciling them with my experiences. I still recommend The Mt Glorious Cafe and suggest you be guided by the "Review Summary". The VAST majority of the almost 200 reviewers gave positive reviews. I think that's a fair clue to the reality of things.

After a short drive from Brisbane northside the coffee here was very welcome; as much as the cooler temperatures up here. Met friends here for late breakfast on Australia Day. None of us were disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. Sorry hipsters; no smashed avo 😱. All eggs were cooked perfectly, with gooey but not running yolks. The smoked salmon served with mine was full of flavour. The staff were friendly and efficient; especially for a public holiday. Definitely be spreading the word; although going by the number of people here around 10:00 they don't need my help.
