Nice views with a fulfilling walk. The walk itself is mostly steps with some flat plateau's. The open area could get a bit warm on Sunday days. Wouldn't recommend if unfit or have knee issues, but for everyone else yes.
Love this hike follow the fire trail round the back for an easy climb then straight down the front towards the car park spectacular views over the valley on the way down
Great stopover for whenever you're crossing the blue mountains through this way and the road is really enjoyable and no traffic.
Naturally spectacular views of the upper Grose Valley sandstone bluffs, just a short moderate fitness walk away from some of the best views you will ever see. Access via an easy to miss turn south of Bells Line of Road just a little further past Mt Tomah Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens towards Bell/ Lithgow. Short walk from carpark to the summit. The views are best right at the beginning. Took us 45 mins one way at a slow pace. Didn't do the circuit but returned the way we came. Visited the botanic gardens and other local points of interest to make it a day trip.
We did the 1.5 hour walk and had to bush bash for the last section of the walk to the summit.. the views were mainly rainforest as we turned right at the burnt sign after walking for a period of time on the fire trail.. I’m assuming I would have to had walked straight at that sign to see the amazing views that are shown in the pictures others have shown.. It is not accessible by public transport which makes it a lot quieter than other bushwalks around..
Epic summit hike, steep with mixed terrain & incredibly grand views! Love that it’s a loop so completely different on the way up to coming down! Highly recommend
Hard walk to the top and back down, beautiful views all the way though. Can loop around and it is less steep on the fire trail side.
Great pleace for photo shoot
Nice walk, accessible by 2wd. Beautiful views. Windy and cold - bring a coat on the cooler days. One of the few tracks not closed due to repairs.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
