We used to use Bendigo Bank for the sole reason they used to be the only bank in Katoomba open on Saturday. They have now stopped doing this and the phone service they offer usually takes more than an hour. This is longer than flying to Melbourne from Sydney Airport - totally unacceptable. I can fly to Melbourne and go to a branch quicker than they telephone service they provide. For this reason, we are going to close our account, the problem is that we need to download software to our mobile device to be able to move the money - despite the hackers from Russia being prevalent. May need to visit Melbourne next weekend so that I can close my account. This is the worst banking service I have ever experienced. So much for it being for the community. I don't think so anymore.
