Used them many times a few years ago. The team was friendly; on some occasions I had to go back to have mistakes corrected after the work. Hope it has improved.

Every time I have been there there has been "something new" that needs fixing. (How convenient for them). Okay that's probably more about my crappy car than Motor Works. But, after ringing around - they've been quoting (and charging) me, in all cases, around twice the amount that other places have quoted. I don't know much about cars so I'm normally quite happy to go along with the industry experts and assume that the price is fair. It's places like this that make me think mechanics are untrustworthy slime-balls out to make a quick buck. If one had 4 hubcaps when one dropped the car off...one would naturally assume that there would be 4 when one picked it up. Not in this case! A receptionist helpfully suggested that perhaps someone stole the hubcap while it was in the car park while the mechanic got quite defensive about the whole ordeal...If my property goes missing while it's in your care I would expect you to be less lackadaisical and more proactive. The lesson here... Value Your Customer. Congratulations Motor Jerks - I definitely won't be returning.
