Motor Book World, located in Australia, is a specialist Motoring Bookshop and Literature retailer dealing in the sale of new and out of print and often rare items. We possess a huge collection and stock of Motoring books and Automotive Literature. Since its inception in 1995 we have been offering a service in providing customers with the books and literature they need or if we do not have it we will try and source it to fulfil a customer’s requirement.

We have Motoring books and literature from around the world, but to make it easier for our customers to search we have divided our collection into Categories listed below, but not limited to these Categories as we are adding newly acquired items to stock all the time :

- Biography – of Motor industry and racing identities, new and out of print
- General Motoring – History Books and Annuals - vintage , veteran and the more modern era

I've been into CMW a few times and am always impressed with the selection and quality of cars they have one show. On my most recent visit, I already knew what cars I wanted to look at and within moments of arriving, I had the keys in my hands to have a look around. Decided to buy the car in question - and drove away in it the next day. Great service and cars
Great experience, very friendly staff and so helpful. Not pushy and they were happy for me to take my time trying out their vehicles. Great warranty deal and they had my car looked amazing when I picked it up. I have even recommended them to a family member. So possibly another car will be coming into the family from them.
I've just brought a lovely shiny BMW from Canterbury Motoring World. It's the first time I have brought a newer car from a dealership and I am totally converted. Jamie was so helpful and informative and took me through the process and made it easy and enjoyable. The starter motor went on my new car, but Aaron was in the office at 8.30am getting his technician out to me within half hour with a courtesy car, and my car was fixed and returned to me the next day with minimal disruption. The company has a family run feeling and I would totally recommend them.
Recently purchased a Volvo XC60 from Aron and his team genuine staff excellent knowledge and professionalism there was no pecking order as everything from the sales team to the mechanics car valets such great communications. I had a problem with the car last week through no fault of the garage and it was dealt with in 24 hour all new break pads and disc all round !!!!! What can I say this was free of charge excellent service and I now feel confident knowing there’s a garage that gives excellent service both in purchasing a car and keeping it maintained and not being RIPPED Off thank so much. We bought a car last year from here and just returned for the yearly service and MOT. Aaron remembered us and he was very helpful as always, genuine, couldn't do enough for us, he even saved us money today. Their prices are one of the cheapest around. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
I brought my car back in December was very easy and absolutely loved my new car! Quickly the window wash was not working so I called them back up and got the problem resolved quickly and easy. They fix everything for me and was a very positive experience. I can’t recommend them enough I would 100% buy a car again from here.
Absolutely fantastic service from Aaron. Car did not pass its MOT and he not only acknowledged my issues with not having transport he went out of his way to make sure I had a car. Communication was awesome keeping me up to date constantly about progress on my car and ensured I wasn't ripped off by main dealer prices... what more can you ask for. You only test the integrity of used car sales showrooms when things do not go to plan. I was very impressed with how Canterbury Motoring World CMW handled my sale. Very recently I reluctantly traded a sports car for a 4wd SUV for practicality reasons. During the sales process all the staff were really pleasant, not pushy and the right amount of questioning to offer different options and test drives to find the right car which I settled in and traded in my car with an additional deposit. The purchased car was low mileage, drove beautifully and great condition. I made a deal. When picking up the car, and being driven for about 30mins there was a noise on the motorway. It wasn’t consistent at first and dismissed it. Over a few days heard it again but only on longer journeys. I contacted CMW who were really pleasant, happily invited me in to discuss with a technician who came out and heard the noise themselves. The car sent off for investigation and the proposed solution implemented all the time I was supplied with a courtesy car. Unfortunately this did not fix the car which needed additional work which was just not viable to implement. We talked through some options and alternatives, different cars, same cars on a slightly different deals all in my favour, or I could revoke the deal and go back to my original car. All the time Aaron at Canterbury Motoring World kept me informed. In my mind it was fate and decided to keep my car, which they had already put through a service and fixed some minor work etc but if in the future I ever do change it I will have no doubt to go to Canterbury Motoring World as their integrity and honesty really stood out, doing the right thing even at their expense when they are a business restored any lack of trust that used car sales showrooms have. For me that is why you go to the trade as opposed to buying privately where I would have been in a very different position. Thank you and highly recommend.
Brought my car back in September since then been amazing throughout! Went back today as had a problem with my car and they managed to fit me in there and then and they fixed it within 2hrs. Staff are very friendly and so helpful. Thank you very much!
