Whilst on holiday in Port Douglas I developed a very serious chest infection. I was struggling to breathe and was taken by ambulance to Mossman Hospital. I cannot fault the treatment and care received. They were very thorough and quickly dealt with the infection which enabled to me to continue my travels in Australia, but more important was able to attend my son's wedding on Hamilton Island which was under question when I first arrived at the hospital. I am a UK resident and was traveling around for a month, this was at the beginning of my trip and I became very frightened. Thank you so much Mossman for your care and expertise.

While on holiday in Port Douglas my father(88yrs) had a very bad fall which required us to call for an ambulance. What a great team looked after Dad well and took him thru to Mossman Hospital for xrays check for broken bones etc. Thankfully not broken but cracked ribs torn rotor cuff muscle in shoulder and very bad gash on his arm. The care he received from all the medical staff was amazing nothing was too much trouble at all. We ended up going back every 2 to 3 days for changing his dressings on his arm. We wish to thank everyone for your care and concern over the 10days. Bless you all Kathryn van Riet Bill Powell (Dad)
