It's a beautiful place to be at when you are on the way to Daintree Rain Forest tour. The center of the place is run and maintained by the locals and includes a cafe and a small shop where local stuff is handcrafted for sale. The cafe provides with some nice snacks stuff and closes early. You can reach the Gorge via walking or via shuttle bus service. Initially it looks ordinary but once you reach the centre point you cannot stop yourself clicking nature. A river also flows across it and it's water is so clear and clean that you will be tempted to take a dip.

Bus ride to gorge is oversell for anyone who isn’t active enough to walk up two flights of stairs.  Easy walk to the gorge. Staff will make it sound like you’re inconveniencing the local community by walking past. Meanwhile they’re constantly driving huge busses through the neibourhood multiple times an hour.  Walk to park is scenic and quite pleasant. 

Scenic walk. Road is a little narrow, but extremely low traffic and bus drivers are quick to move over and make room.

Very nice and relax, the water is nice and cool. To get to the gorge you have buy a bus ticket from the centre and it’s a short bus ride to the gorge. The walkway to the gorge is easy access, on my way to the gorge I saw a girl with a crutch in her swimming togs on the way back so I guess it is disable friendly.. 

If you don’t want to pay for the bus, you can walk from the centre to the gorge it’s about 1.5km to 2km.

Mossman gorge is a must for all tourist in the Cairns to Daintree area. The centre at the entrance to the park is run by the local indigenous community, and includes local art work for sale.  The centre also includes a cafe with a selection of sweets and savouries.  You can walk to the gorge, but it is recommended that you take the shuttle bus to help support the park and local community.  The short shuttle bus ride takes you to an awesome water hole, where you can spend the day swimming.  The shuttle  us will return you to the centre when you are done.  Make sure you get back before the cafe closes.
