MBRCLS provides FREE LEGAL SERVICES in Redcliffe, Deception Bay. Caboolture, Woodford and Bribie Island.
MBRCLS legal services include 'Information, Advice & Referrals', a 'Legal Document Service' and 'Community Legal Education' to residents of the Moreton Bay Regional Council and particularly to disadvantaged and vulnerable people.
MBRCLS has grown from providing:
* one service monthly in Redcliffe to weekly services in Redcliffe, Deception Bay and Caboolture, monthly in Woodford and bi-monthly on Bribie Island;
* 135 consultations in 1995 to 1675 consultations in 2016.
MBRCLS aims to empower people to deal with their legal matters based on understanding, co-operation and self-help.
