I’m not sure whom I just spoke to but I’m utterly disgusted by their attitude! I requested kindly for an update on my application and his responses were, “What’s your date of birth?” “What’s your address?” “What’s your last name?” with no kind tone at all. I asked one simple question kindly and he replied with, “Call the number when you get the letter and they’ll sort it out.” I said, “Okay! Thankyou for that” and his response was “Bye” and I was hung up on.
Spoke to James on the phone who told me to come into the office so he could scan my DV application and schedule a time for some legal advice. When I arrived at the office, staff let James know I was there. He refused to speak to me. They read my application and supporting documents and gave me an application for legal aid. I drove 50 minutes out of my way for something I could have done online. Cheers James.
Easy to deal with. Assisted with completing application as required
Legal aid is ment to help.. but thay don't thay just want you to plead guilty cause thay don't want to do the work thay get paid for .. seek alternative help 8f you can otherwise just plead guilty and let them collapse on there own
Was helpful to get advice for my marriage brake up now to deal with the rest
It's been 3 weeks and they are still incapable of adressing basic paperwork and answering phones
Helpful and great advice and support for your situation.
Staff are usually pleasant to do deal with.
Good ideas but the process is a bit to be desired.
Great if you need a lawyer.
