Disgusting behaviour from the Vet. I originally chose this vet because their consultation fee was quite cheap compared to most vet’s, but that’s all a con. They did tests I did not know about. And they also did not check with me throughout the visit whether or not I could keep up with the cost’s they were piling on. From mine and friend’s past experiences, vets are supposed to consult what they are doing to your pet along with the charges before they go ahead and do anything. The vet was careful to only tell me half the fee until I got the counter and when I said I don’t have the money to cover the whole fee that day, she was very rude and attempted bullying me (as if I could magically find the money else where). I have taken the list of medication and will be consulting with another vet before I purchase them else where. I understand vets can be costly, but it concerns me that nasty people with no compassion are supposedly ‘looking after’ our pets. The vet I am speaking of had short brown hair and was a bit chubby. I’m not sure what the other staff are like but this one should not be allowed to speak to their clients the way she did. The administration showed more understanding then she did.

I wish to thank all staff and vets at the Morayfield Veterinary Surgery for the excellent care and consideration to my much loved pet Lockie , especially those who assisted with his final day on Friday 22nd December 2017, your kindness will always be remembered.

This vet surgery is fantastic, they are so good with my pup and whenever I am unsure about anything they are more than happy to answer my questions over the phone, would highly recommend.

Poor communication with little patience at a time when understanding was required. Probably ok to pick up a pill, but not a surgery to choose when emotions are running high and sensitivity is required from employees for the patient and it’s family.
