Story

Welcome to the Moorabbin Area Toy Library
Moorabbin Area Toy Library has served families in the area since 1987. We operate as a non-profit community organisation, run predominantly by our members and volunteers.
Play is an essential element of a child’s early life. Play enables them to interact and learn about themselves and the world around them. The aim of the toy library is to support families in enhancing their children’s play by supplying members with the tools for play.
The wide range of quality toys, puzzles and games exposes children to a range of play experiences that:
- are age appropriate
- help lay the foundations for a love of learning which lasts a lifetime
- assists them in the achievement of physical and mental development milestones
- inspires their imaginations and encourages creativity.
We also have a range of toys suitable for children with special needs and specific age milestones.

Membership payment can be made by credit card, through our PayPal system, or via cash or cheque.

Products

We have over 2000 toys in more than 25 categories available for loan. Non-members are welcome to come and visit the toy library during opening hours to see the amazing range of toys available including: Fisher-Price, Little Tikes, Lego, Games & Puzzles, Outdoor Equipment, Musical Instruments, Role Playing, Sand and Water Toys, Dress Ups and Craft Toys.

We also have a huge range of large toys such as ride-ons & play kitchens.
