Moonta Cemetery

I was saddened to hear that so many graves have been vandalised. This cemetery is very historic with lots of unmarked children's graves. It would be lovely if the local council could put a little picket fence around the children's graves. Its a sweet little area but incredibly sad.

It's a nice old cemetery plenty of history. Nice an clean for where my nana has been put. They are taking care of the old graves so people can see the history they. The headstone ingravers in moonta are great people. I highly recommend these people to anyone. Will do any sml jobs that need to improve the graves. Recently did my mums they were excellent with prices. They did the job in less than 2days seeing them. They lived up to my expectations. They will always have my interests at heart in the future... Thanks guys...

Historical Cemetery with amazing gravestones. Very large section with unmarked children's graves that died from several plagues when medicine was worse. Some amazing tombstones.

Lovely old cemetery, just a shame so many bad people have to desecrate graves. A heap of copper plates and the old bell were stolen. The children’s graves are so sad, no headstones. Forgotten.

Historic collection that includes masses of largely-unmarked children's graves of the early mining era when water was a penny a bucket - expensive for working families.
