Enfield Memorial Park

It takes up a huge area and can take awhile to get your bearings. The gardens are impeccable and very well looked after and tasteful. Lots of very interesting little places worth visiting (you'll know what I mean if you every visit here and take the time to really look around).

I was at the cemetary for the first time today looking for my Grandmothers site in the Catholic section. My sister and I were having difficulty and a lovely groundsman helped us locate , crawling on his knees to help. Wow I should have asked him name to write a personal note but didnt. Cannot thank staff at Enfield cemetery enough for all their help and support. Also their Groundsman could not have been more compassionate, understanding and helpful. I had to bring my mum's ashes from Queensland which was quite stressful, but they made it less stressful for me. Many thanks Marie Hall.

After visiting Enfield Cemetery daily for the past 15 days,i am appalled at the amount of people who use this beautiful place purely as a dog park.I am sick of dodging dogs off leads and watching them running on graves,trampling flowers and ornaments and peeing on bushes spraying plaques while their owner walks along blissfully ignoring it.I would rate this cemetery 5 stars but dogs should not be allowed.For those people visiting their loved ones and who do take their dogs,keep them on leads and keep them off peoples graves and for those who just use it as a playground for their mutts,shame on you.
