Overall the restaurant looks great & the service was absolutely impeccable but the food was a little hit or miss & the cocktails were a bit average.nnHighlights of the meal were the macadamia dip, vegetable dumplings & the kung pao brussel sprouts. This were all incredible! A must get imo.nnMid tier dishes were the char sui pork buns, black bean rice noodles, lemon chicken & chocolate fondant. These were good but not amazing.nnWe did not enjoy the scallops, tofu or fried ice cream. The strong flavour of the sauce really overpowered the delicate flavour of the scallops. The tofu was basically cold & I think perhaps a softer texture inside would’ve been nicer. The pairing of fried ice cream & cream was not good, perhaps the cream was a bit over whipped too & split & got a bit watery in my mouth.nnI had the Atypical Marg, Moonlit Mui & Crystal Southside & they were all just ok.nnAll that being said we enjoyed our night & would come back :
Loved their Wednesday fish night. Equally enjoyable were their brussel sprouts, Kung bao style, with no bitter aftertaste that'll convert most sprout haters. The vibe was lovely, the lighting dim. Initial thoughts were that this Chinese establishment would try to be modern but how I was gladly wrong. The delicate steaming techniques of Cantonese cuisine was kept traditional and done well. I look forward to trying other Cantonese dishes on offer.
We held our Christmas lunch in here and had a fantastic experience. The team was incredibly accommodating with all of our changes in the lead-up to the day, which made organising everything so much easier. The venue was perfect for a private function — we had our own private bar and separate entrance, which made the occasion feel exclusive and well-organised. The food was delicious, and everyone really enjoyed their meal. Highly recommend for group events or celebrations!

Moon House made our son's 21st birthday celebration truly unforgettable! We chose this restaurant specifically for their take on Chinese cuisine with a twist and they exceeded every expectation.nnWe opted for the Classic Yum Cha Unlimited set menu at $64 per person, and what incredible value it was! The food was absolutely outstanding. What impressed us most was the exceptional quality of their proteins and the incredible variety of flavors across every dish.nnEach dish was a delight: the XO Scallop was simply amazing, cooked to perfection. The Wagyu Beef Dumpling and Char Siu Pork Bun were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The Roast Duck Pancake was beautifully executed, while the Chicken & Prawn Wonton showcased wonderful variety in their steamed dim sum selection. The Pork & Wombok Dumpling and Mixed Vegetable Spring Roll offered perfect balance. The Yu Xiang Crispy Eggplant was a standout with incredible flavor, and the kale fried rice was fantastic. Even the Sichuan Pickled Cucumbers and Salt & Pepper Calamari were perfectly seasoned. We finished with the refreshing Green Apple Sorbet.nnEvery single dish from the set menu was absolutely delicious - not a single miss! Each had its own distinct flavor profile, beautifully complemented by delicious sauces and accompaniments.nnThe service was impeccable throughout our meal. The staff were attentive, warm, and genuinely caring, always greeting us with smiles and checking to ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.nnMoon House delivered exactly what we hoped for on this very special occasion - exceptional food, wonderful service, and memories we'll treasure. Highly recommend for any celebration or special dining experience!
