Attended Australian Outrigger Canoe Nationals held at Spit Park 27/28 May 23. A great venue which hosted 1000 competitors and over 50 Outrigger Canoes. Parking and amenities were  adequate for the  event. Overall very impressed the site. Also obviously very popular with the public.

Beautiful place to spend your time, Nice beach, walking, fishing

Even on a rainy day, a walk here can be absolutely beautiful  - listening to the wind - the waves - and the rain!

The Spit Park is a super location for families to enjoy the beach watch out for dumping waves!. Lots of grassy areas and shady trees as well as nearby seafood and fish & chip outlets. Love walking out on the rock wall path.

Great place to relax and enjoy fresh fish and chips - seafood and enjoy the wildlife
