A large but confusing car park, with an excessive amount of speed bumps. For some reason they've insisted on placing 1 or MORE speed bumps on the ramps? Terrible decision making.nnAlso, during semester the car park is usually full to the brim, if you have a blue permit and arrive after 12, you'll most likely only find parking on level 6, if at all.
Great place to park. Be careful of the Electric Vehicle parking. There is so much charging rage there. People complaining about 2-3 minutes overstay, but will argue for 20 mins. Happens all the time. Monash should start charging money and this behaviour may stop.
Terrible car park! So confusing as to where I can park as a visitor and extremely limited spaces. I found a space eventually but still was not sure whether it was ok to park there and so thought I’d chance it but then where and how do I pay. Then took time to find the machines on the ground floor and then the machine was ‘temporarily unavailable’. Aaaasarrrrrrggggghhhhhh! I aborted my mission and came home instead and hope I never need or want to go to Monash ever again. Incidentally had a similar experience last time I went to that car oark 3 yrs ago. Sort it out Monash.
As a Monash staff member, I object to having to pay to provide my services to my workplace.nLet's not forget, Monash is a property business first and foremost, and where once it was said that 'Staff were their most important resource' the truth Today, with redundancy and non renewal of contracts, is quite different.
Usually plenty of spots and the university’s decision to change to a pay as you go app can be tedious to set up but is ultimately resulting in easier parking.
