Needs a good clean, needs a indoor covered waiting section on the platform it's downstairs lol, so you gotta leave and go upstairs when train comes.

Police barricaded the gates at 12:30pm Thursday 14/09/2023 and age and racial profiled potential ticket evaders and people that didn't have a concession card.nnThis was a poor experience despite the accessibility for people with limited mobility in the station. The station was clean too. I had nothing to fear, being a paying customer, but everybody fears the police. Especially people of colour.nnI've only ever seen ticket inspectors on trains and buses and not barricading station gates. If this is something customers can expect to see more often, then I fear the future. I've never fare evaded but I have once gone without my concession card when I went walletless for a while, using my phone to pay for things. I got caught that one time, despite still being a paying customer.nnI don't usually get off at this station as I had someone pick me up. This station has an escalator which my local station doesn't. I appreciate that as a disabled person.nnThis gets a one star for making a typically seamless and quick experience dreadfully annoying.
Nice construction, but Clayton is very congested. Too many traffic lights and pedestrian crossing lights are just adding to congestion as it was before removing the boom gate.
Much safer to use than before the upgrades but the lifts are slow to respond and the toilets are extremely unpleasant but it's still an improvement on what it was, beforehand.
