Love love love this place! From the moment we walked in we received the warmest, friendliest service, the food was amazing and even though the waiter was busy he made time to share his opinion on the best dumplings at my hubby's request. Food was sooo good, so much flavour but not too much and a delicious glass of well priced wine to go with. Don't miss dessert!!!! Would definitely come back and will recommend to anyone heading to Hanmer Springs!!!
Visited MK on the recommendation of the Hanmer Springs hairdresser. Oh my goodness we were blown away with the outstanding meals and amazing personal service. A simple to understand menu and exquisite presentation topped off the incredible flavours in both of our meals. The dessert was particularly spectacular!
We loved it! Great food, the cheese, bacon and onion pierogis were bloomin’ amazing. The choice of wines that are all the same price were great - choices from Spain and Italy as well as Aussie and NZ. The owner is a character and is great to have a chat to. This place is a great restaurant and we will definitely be back next time we are in Hanmer.
omg, the food experience here is to die for, they can do gluten-free options too. The craftsmanship and expertise of creating the dishes are absolutely out of this world.. I would definitely up the star level to a 10 if I could.
Lovely restaurant. Lots of different type of dumpling to try. Unfortunately there is no mixed plate that we can have to try each type of dumpling. The dumplings were great, but the salads were the highlight.
This was one of the most amazing meals I have ever eaten. If I could award six or more stars, I would. Dumplings with a combination of salad and pickle sides, exquisite and beautifully presented. The ambiance and atmosphere were lovely but the food... just wow. Advance bookings are essential on Fri/Sat nights. Vegetarian options: My wife chose one of the vegetarian options. "Absolutely amazing".
Wow! if I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would because it is by far the best place to dine in Hanmer Springs from the amazing warm welcoming and thorough explaination of the food to the spectacular presentation and flavour combination of our food served to us.My husband and I were blown away and what also really made our night special was that they acknowledged my husband's birthday with a free dessert especially made for him,now that was such a thoughtful special touch that is very rare these days.Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience and accommodating my gluten free needs,we will definitely be back. Small popular restaurant, would probably be best to book. Speciality is dumplings, menu is tailored to highlight various speciality dumpling. Food is complimented by various condiments and salad. Chef owner is friendly and funny. A unique meal which I really enjoyed.
