As of new management by the looks of whole new staff food had declined in state and taste. Calamari rings were cooking in the wrong batter. If you want a chicken stick, they don't sell them anymore and instead the batter is on your calamri rings. Never mind being tiny and looking like onion rings, the flavour will make you think you're eating burnt batter with some string. Crab sticks taste like the dough could be cooked longer and the fish is dry. Quality is still in the milkshake but this place will need time to either go back to their hidden glory or crumble under pressure. I could give it 2 stars but after hearing a local share their complains it's a 1 star.
WASTE OF MONEY! Passing through town, stopped here to support the local business. Owner didn’t have gravy or roast potatoes so added chips to my meal. Got home with my food and I was disgusted with overcooked, dry chicken, undercooked chips and freezer burnt vegetables. Better off with the Oporto across the road.
Was great years ago. unfortunately this place has gone to the dogs and the owner doesn't give a toss. "DO NOT RECOMMEND" I MAY NEVER RECOVER MENTALLY AFTER GIVING THEM ANOTHER CHANCE.Food: 1/5
Very polite and courteous staff. Chips were freshly cooked, and despite them being busy got my order in minutes. Best chicken and chips I've had in ages.Food: 5/5
Food is a short walk, nice fish and chips and chickens , Caravan park 5 stars great showers and so clean, and if you need help to park your van the caretaker knows what he is doing and so friendlyFood: 5/5
The classic original owners have sold the business, so that quality of the burgers they did is not the same. Chips were still good and the young girls serving were polite and helpful.Food: 3/5
I just bought a hamburger with egg and cheese and 4 potato scallops. The hamburger was soggy and the worst was that as I got to the center the meat patty was raw inside. The scallops were over done and the potato was that thin it was just about non existent. It was also very oily and the oil tasted old. I feel sick now even though I didn't eat much of it. A waste of $18. For garbage. I will not be going back again and not recommend it to anyone else.
Guaranteed best chips! The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and able to provide good customer service. 100% will go back again.
I mean chips are ight could do some more chicken salt. To be honest the best chicken was the chicken salt , the chicken definitely made it feel like they harvested it from the park next door. Should've realised this as its in the name .wouldn't rate it at all but couldn't let some one else go through torture of eating pigeon like I did 0/10 wont be eating here agian . Then man that's served us seemed like he didn't want to be there #notgreatcustomerserves soo not halal mode .. update 2 hours after consuming the pigeon definitely had something inhumane In it my stomach could not comprehend this monstrosity of food I have eaten. I Will post a updated review in the morning to see how my colleague and I feel.please keep me in your thoughts and prays
Sadly this is not the charcoal chicken shop I hoped to find after moving to Mittagong recently. It's just down the road and I really wanted it to be a good place for a quick easy meal after work. I ordered a hot pack, which is a quarter chicken, roast potato, carrot, corn and peas with gravy, for $14. Firstly they charged 50 cents surcharge for using eftpos. I queried it and was told by the nice young lady that it's the bosses decision, and that things are tight for businesses just now. I commented that things are tight for customers too. I don't think it's even legal to do that. My meal arrived after a bit of a wait, I got it home and the carrot, corn and peas are heated up frozen diced vegetables, which I couldn't eat. The roast potato tasted strange, couldn't eat it. The chicken wasn't too bad, but I was well and truly turned off by then and couldn't eat it. Unfortunately I will need to find somewhere else for my nice easy meal after work, and also something else for dinner tonight! A cheese sandwich perhaps?
