Not happy at all with the kitchen department here in Tauranga, we went to our first appointment in May and now it is nearly Dec. We ordered half a kitchen, no problem with the products or the builder who installed it. The lady we were dealing with was not that good , too young to know what to do with helping suggestions eg, first photo we could have had a wider cupboard. We extended out 100mm we could have gone another 100mm as we had to move pipes so another 100mm would not have made much difference back at the start. And we could have had a more useful space.nShe has since left and we have had no contact from them since the week before Labour weekend. I have had to ring them and ask about our kickboards we are still waiting on as the sent ones that were too short and couldn't be used.nThank goodness for our builder who has been awesome.nKitchen department get your shit together .
Dean was awesome in the timber section. Made it extremely easy for me to find what I needed and went out of his way to further explain what to use and why. LEGEND!
Great staff, but I found the products quite a bit dearer than others, and inferior quality. The Resene paint was just basically turps, and the accent hog bristle all-purpose brushes had at least 1/3 of the bristles come out. I should have kept with the White knight paint from bunnings, and their budget brushes.
Super busy with Christmas shoppers, but as it is typical with Mitre Ten staff, one pops up in a timely manner to lend you a helping hand. This time I was holding a packaged Christmas tree at the end of a queue and noticed and motioned to a spare counter near the exit.nFriendly smiles, friendly and efficient service. That is what keeps customers coming back. A winning formula from Mitre Ten.
Female staff member in timber yard was zero help and didn't even try! If you can't help then find someone who can.nI gave feedback via the code on receipt and never heard back at all. I'll be shopping at bunnings where possible.
