Good selection for summer planting in the gardening department. Did a click and collect which was missing a few items refunded for these items via bank. However incredibly disappointed when i went to plant my petuna and found i had been given the wrong colour. Pansies are a hit! Staff are always very helpful but i think i will buy my plants on site next time rather than click and collect.

Was in desperate need of a double inflatable bed which appeared to be sold out. However, Jackie was an absolute life saver and after searching the whole store for good 20 minutes finally found us one. hands down best customer service i’ve ever gotten! Thanks Jackie, we had an amazing sleep.

Was great to be able to buy hardware, garden supplies and have a cuppa and cake all at the one place. On the negative side - the carparking is a bit of a train wreck since using some of the thoroughfare for extra merchandise. This saw some people driving the wrong way and making it hard to get in and out of the disabled parks some of which have also been comandeered for the extra stuff. Pleasant shop.

I never think two free boxes around the entrance will cause such a big drama. I went here today and was insulted and discriminated against by their staff in the cashier area. The only cashier lady in around told me 'you cannot take any free boxes today'. I asked her 3 times why we cannot take any boxes today and I got ignored. then I expressed I want to talk to your duty manager asking why we cannot take any boxes today. while I was waiting in their customer services area, that lady comes to me again and told me you are a rude and horrible person. I was shocked by her behivour by insulting customer in public. after spending thousands of dollars for renovation, what I got is a publicly insulted

I love the range this mitre 10 has, they always seem to have what we want in stock. I recently had an experience with a faulty glass vase breaking, it was pretty clear i hadnt done something to damage it but i was nervous how it would be handled, the staff were absolutely amazing to deal with and replaced the item for me which i have since had no issues with. While i was at customer service getting sorted i was really impressed with the way they spoke to each other and how senior staff seemed supportive when there was a slightly anoyed customer.

We were looking to renovate our bathroom and both Sarah and Chris were absolutely wonderful. Sarah did a 3D printout for us and Chris gave us valuable information on appliances. Well done Sarah and Chris.

Normally great service. But today had to line up as they only had 2 counters open. With quite a few  people behind us waiting to get  serve.

Not the best the salesperson forgot about me and never came back in the gardening area which was dissapointing but had good service in the lighting area

Wee Cafe was good.  Sold very nice cheese rolls and made a decent coffee!

This mitre 10 was better than the hornby one in Christchurch! Helpful staff, great selection of products.
