Amazing vibe and super friendly bar staff. Trivia on Wednesday was amazing, we had a lot of fun and even got some prizes. Food was great quality and very reasonable price. Great and fun family night!
Went to the Mitcham Hotel with my friend Phil and enjoyed a lovely meal. There were a number of people doing the same but there were plenty of seating options.nnOrdering is done on your phone after scanning a QR code on the table. Waiting time was more than acceptable and the meals were hot. the plates were full and the drinks were cold.nnThere was a good variety of meals to choose from including children's portions and a seniors selection too.nnThe atmosphere was bubbling with patrons chatting and enjoying their meal selections. Parking out the back was great with plenty of spaces to choose from.nnAltogether a great experience and we'll be back again soon.
We ate here and decided to get 2 starters because we didn’t feel hungry enough to get 2 main meals. We decided to get the Bruschetta, and the tacos. I was really disappointed with both dishes mainly because, of price, but also quality of food. The tacos were really not what I expected. The meat tasted unseasoned, with a bit of salsa from a jar slapped on with a fairly hefty price of $17. We also got the Bruschetta. Now don’t get me wrong, it was actually really nice and tasty! However, for $16 I expect a little bit more than one slice of bread cut in half?nnWe also came on steak night expecting maybe that the steaks would be discounted. They are in fact the same price , you just get a free topper. Also disappointing.nnOver all, a pretty disappointing experience.
Have been coming here for years, I bring mum 96 yrs every time I'm in town. Service always hospitable like visiting someone's home. Food generous and delicious. Can't wait to come back again this winter to dine by the roaring open fire.
Over the past year the food has improved greatly. There is plenty of choice and the meals are delicious. Nice interior and spacious. It has become a regular go to for my husband and I. Definitely worth a visit!
