Great Burgers. Great fish. Chips are good but not exceptional. Misty Valley has been my go-to chippie for over 15 years. It is not the closest but it has far and away the best fish in the area, and fabulous burgers. I rate their chips as good, but I know places that have better chips. However, the trade off for fish and burgers keeps me going back. My only criticism would be that they are a little light on the salt, but perhaps that is a health thing. I generally fix that up at home.
If you are after that classic takeaway taste of chips, fish and burgers - this place definitely still has it! The burgers are big for its price range and is packed with homemade patties. The chips is always fresh as well. The service is great and the family who runs this gives the best service. Definitely a great local go to.
First time buying from here. Crabstick was great. Chips yuk. Steak and cheese burger was horrible. Can't even use proper cheese. Snapper was well and truly overcooked.The fish was absolutely dry like old leather and batter nearly burnt it was that dark. Wont be buying from again.

Be coming here for years. His fish is delicious and yummy . If you are interested in an good fish and Chips I'll say Misty Valley Takeaways is an Awesome fish and Chips shop Food: 5/5
Ridiculous price and gross. $4.50 minimum chips for a tiny amount which were gross, no salt, soggy and undercooked. Some of the chips were still hard because they weren’t cooked enough. Ended up throwing them away and won’t be returning
Thought we'd try this place out as it is one of the local takeaways, we usually go to others not too far away. We had burgers, fish, chips, and potato fritters, and milkshakes.... burger wasn't the best, wasn't the worst. Fish was no good, potato fritters were awful, chips okish, milkshake wasn't too good, not much flavor to it. So many better places to go to not too far from here, I really can't recommend this place and we won't be going back

Looking for a new fish and chips place read the reviews sounded good. The fish and the hotdogs were well over cooked. The chips were ok and the bacon and cheese balls were pretty good. However was definitely not worth the $60 I paid for it! Left feeling like I didn't get a good feed of fish and chips that I was after not worth the calories *sigh
Purchased two burgers and you expect them to be as good as a McDonald's or Wendy's burger as they are $7 plus. But you will be disappointed. Ordered the chicken and fish burger. The chicken is not real. Processed and mashed up and flour covered all over it. Very unpleasant, it would cost them $1 to make this burger do don't understand why they don't use real ingredients. Fish burger was as bad. Over cooked. We couldn't even finish eating the burgers. Waste of $15.00.
