A fantastic place to have a nice morning brekky, with a picturesque view of the golf course. The morning feeds are pretty decent. I am a fan of the pastrami rye sandwich. Today however, I tried the beef brisket sandwich. To me it is slightly on the dry side, but tasty nonetheless. We also had the tandoori chicken wrap.
I haven't been in around 6 years as I've lived overseas but went again recently. I was so glad that it's just as good as it was back then and the prices are still very decent for what you get. A peaceful place to have a cup of coffee or a quality brunch. Not the best coffee in the area, but decent.Food: 5/5
We’ve moved to the other side of town so given my weekly chicken and walnut sandwich is no longer I didn’t pass up the chance to enjoy one when I was nearby recently. Happy to report it’s the same consistent deliciousness though $12 for a suburban takeaway toastie is on the steep end Latest I’ve been getting a chicken and walnut sandwich from here on the regular during lockdown 6.0 and it’s a real yummy comfort. As you can see the slather a heap of oily butter on there which is probably why it tastes so delicious Further update A breakfast brownie whilst we are stuck in our 5km bubble, not a bad brownie I’m very partial to a nut free brownie and whilst this wasn’t the best I’ve had it was still yummy and I love the cheeky bag it came in Update I was working out of another site nearby recently and with Mister Fox the only option other than the in house cafeteria my choice was clear. I went for a chicken sandwich from the cabinet but there were plenty of made to order options available too. An overall pleasing lunch Original review Living ridiculously close to Mister Fox I am partial to a casual hang overlooking the putting green across a plate of housemade dips, dukkha and sourdough. Their breakfast is pretty good too and unsurprisingly it's not just popular amongst those playing golf. The view sets this apart from other local suburban cafes as it's so beautiful and lush. My family is a regular here. Service is always friendly and food never disappoints. I love their soup that changes according to the seasonal ingredients. The chicken schnitzel is also delicious. My kids love the burger here and the chocolate brownies are to die for! It can be busy around lunchtime, make sure to book a table to avoid disappointment.
Amazing outlook from Cafe over the golf course, lots of birdlike to see. Inside area can be loud when full of people. Had an outdoor seating area as well. Staff friendly but not super attentive. Asked for my meal with the eggs hard poached and they were unfortunately still runny. Corn fritter was dense and soggy, not what I was expecting.
We had 10 adults and 6 kids booked for breakfast for my birthday celebrations. Even though I booked outside tables, they had kindly set a beautiful table for us inside, if we changed our minds. Thank you for the great service Kid-friendliness: We had 6 kids with us. Mr. Fox bought pencils and colouring books to the table. They also have kids golf clubs to keep the kids busy on a grassed designated area whilst you eat. Dietary restrictions: Mr. Fox offers gluten free options which suits our family
The best thing about this place was the view and the toast … Food quality has gone downhill ..ordered the scrabbled eggs on toast with hash browns and mr Fox beans ... they were horrible.. The eggs at ikea taste better The beans were cold and had a bitter taste Will not be going there again ..
I love this place. It is my favourite place to catch up with friends either for coffee or a meal. It never disappoints.Food: 5/5
Nice place to dine overlooking the golf course. Really lovely on nice days. During lockdown they are serving takeaway only. There’s a small outdoor area to sit and have a coffee. Staff have always been friendly and were happy to fill my ceramic cup with coffee. Coffee was a bit weak for my taste but acceptable. Good experience. Look forward to my next visit.
Lovely cafe with wonderful food. Nice to overlook type golf course whilst you enjoy your food and coffee. Relaxing vibes and perfect for a Sunday morning. The cafe can be a bit loud when it’s full, but there’s plenty of seating outdoor as well.
