I have been cycling since 1989, starting with Mountain Biking on a Kalahari Record. 18spd Suntor gears, rigid and 1 to 1 ratio from a road bike. Great fun exploring the local forests. 1996, traveling and playing in Colorado USA I attended Barnett's Bicycle Institute and qualified in mechanics. Bringing this experience back to NZ, I secured a position with Shimano NZ and designed and implemented training modules for Bicycle Mechanics throughout NZ and in Sydney Australia. This steep learning curve gave me the valued experience to manage a local workshop and eventually starting a mechanical workshop in 2007 after my daughter was born. My ethos is to create positive relationships and deliver quality service at a reasonable price. Do the job once and do it right!
