I am not one for leaving bad reviews, but, boy, was visiting this store an... experience. I have had great service at the Melbourne Central store, and was looking forward to checking out the one at Burleigh. I visited for the first time a few months ago. The lady, whom I assume is the owner, totally ignored me and my friends; a very hard thing to do in a 5m x 4m space. I put it down to a bad hair day. I visited again more recently. I was looking for some new jeans and denim skirt. I selected some items to try on and was told I would have to wait for a dressing room. This was alarm bell number one, given that there was very clearly an empty dressing room available. After about 5 minutes, the lady told me I could use it. I tried on the items and decided I wanted to try a few more. I took the items out and went to select a few more. I went to put the items back on the rack, but couldn't remember where I had gotten them all from. The lady took them off me with a "huff", mumbled something rude under her breath and *dropped all the items on the ground*. I had a laugh to myself and decided that my money was better spent elsewhere. I recently travelled to Melbourne and bought some items from the store in Melbourne Central. Great service and stock! The girls there are lovely and my review shouldn't discourage you from visiting the other Miss Brown's Vintage stores. There is also a store at Byron Bay, which I haven't visited but have heard is with a visit. If you are in the Brisbane/Gold Coast area, give the Burleigh store a miss and take a road trip to Byron. Lady at Burleigh, I hope you find happiness in your life someday.

The customer service in the place was aboluetly horrendous. I'm not one for writing reviews but I have never been treated so badly. I went two days hoping for better service but clearly the owners don't care or these people wouldn't work for them. Do not recommend. Spend your money on nice people.

This store has some really cool clothes and I went in with the intention to buy something but I had to walk out because the customer service was appalling. I don't know if the lady working was the owner but she was extremely rude, dismissive and did not acknowledge me at all. A quick lesson in good customer service (which isn't that hard in the first place) for the staff would go a long way so people don't keep taking their business elsewhere like me :)

Small store, but definitely worth the visit if you love your genuine vintage clothing!!
