Really disappointed this morning. We have had a tee time booked for 6 people. We all travelled interstate to play at the golf courses of Mildura. We arrived 20 minutes before our tee time only to be told that they did not have carts for us because they’re for a larger group later on. We had booked the round and carts weeks earlier. No apology or alternate was offered and we were forced to play elsewhere. Riverside was excellent. Really poor communication.
The rooms are dated but spotlessly clean, and the staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, the lack of soundproofing meant that noise from other guests talking outside impacted our sleep. As someone who travels frequently, I ended up cancelling my second night as the accommodation didn’t quite meet my usual standard. That said, it’s a clean and hospitable place, just better suited for those less sensitive to noise.
The food at the bistro is well prepared and tastes nice the rooms are clean and it is in a beautiful area of Mildura it was a nice place but... The service is not great it says complimentary daily room service but we didn't get any room service the taps in the rooms make loud banging noises some of the lights don't work, and the wifi is really bad some of us couldn't even get connected to it because it had to many people on it so they need better wifi, the rooms are very outdated even though they are clean they have spider nests behind the bedside tables next to the bigger bed, and the walls are too thin so we could hear some of the residents talking really loud on phone calls all night.
I was looking for a clean, inexpensive room for a night while travelling from Canberra to Adelaide.nMy room was a great price, but more importantly was clean and had everything I needed to be comfortable while I was there. I especially appreciated the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, as I had run out.nCheck in was easy, staff were friendly and helpful.nThe rooms are a little dated, but as previously stated they're clean, comfortable and really well priced.nWould definitely stay there again
Their online booking showed the price at $XXX, yet AGODA showed $x, which was strange as I had stayed here before at $x, so I went with $x!nReception are wonderful Cheryl.nRoom is tired and really needs some maintenance. Water pressure and temperature are great.nBar and bistro are very good, and quiet.
