After finding just about everything else either closed or boarded up for renovations, it was a pleasure to discover this little gem was still going strongly. It is one of the few easily accessible places in Launceston city where someone in a wheelchair can actually find a space. lovely freshly made sandwiches and the owner even carried out our drinks to save us an extra trip. LOVELY service and nice food.
Roast pork rolls from this place were incredible for the price! Absolutely will be coming back, always busy so have some patience as it's in the CBD, but worth it for a snack or a solid lunch if you're keen on a decent general spread

Food is nice and hot. Surprisingly little gem in town.Food: 5/5
Great food , only issue is every chair and table is covered in bird droppings. You can't sit back into the chaírs with out getting bird poo on your çlothes, they àre old and dirty. It all needs replacing with plastic table and chairs so they can be wiped down after people have used them.
My brother-in-law Chris who describes himself as a local celebrity recommended this place, stating it was the best roll perhaps even the best food in Launceston perhaps even the southern hemisphere. He was not wrong.
I travelled to Launceston with my mum last week and my friend brought me to Mike's for lunch. Undeniably, food was sufficiently good - I was not a big fan of meaty wraps and burgers but my mum likes it. However, attitude needs A LOT improvement. First, when I entered the restaurant, they did not greet nor smile, but only threw out a question: 'What do you want?'. Oh? Did I owe you money? Second, my friends ordered 1 wrap but they mistakenly heard it as 2 - even though I still could not understand how on earth that could happen, 1 and 2 are so different. One of my friend repeated the order twice and they still got it wrong. It was very clear that my friend said 'O.N.E.' - no doubt, solid. At the third repeat, the cook answered rudely 'OK I will prepare you one then'. The waitresses were no better than the cook - turned their faces away and rolled eyes. Third, one of the waitresses asked for the salad I wanted on my burger. I was a tourist, I did not know how the ordering system works. I took a few seconds to look at the salad which was possibly 60% covered, and to consider which one to get. Two of them rolled their eyes again, for which I think it was very rude. If you were going to continue such bad attitude, be prepared to get no new customers and lose a few of your existing patronages. Customers appreciate good services. Good food comes second.
