Edit since they responded:nI know women who use that room, obviously they have told me that it's also hot in there.nI don't know why instead of routinely cleaning the fans so they aren't filthy, you expect patrons to come up to staff and request them to do their job? If there are brand new fans, it'd be nice if you could switch them on. Surely you want productive criticism of the gym so you can improve it right? The cleanliness of the gym is lacking, that's not a personal dig. Again, this is a good gym, but it does lack in areas. Do you think people will want to approach you and offer any criticism if they see that your responses come off as dismissive and condescending?nnWhile I do appreciate that this gym is fairly cheap, massive, staff are friendly, and there's plenty of machines, this place leaves a lot to be desired.nnI don't want to come off rude, but this place is pretty dirty and VERY hot. There's a lot of fans, and a few aircons, but for some reason almost none of them are on! And most of them are caked in thick layers of dust. I want to work up a sweat, not come in already feeling like I'm done. A selling point they bring up is the gym being fully air conditioned, but it doesn't seem to be at all. Even the women's room is very hot. A lot of machines seem to have wobbly seats and a fair amount of rust on them. The machines also are quite dusty. There's holes in the walls in some areas, the music is really loud. I actually need to take allergy medication before coming in, which I think is due to dust.nnI do like this gym, I just wish all the fans and aircons were on, and clean, and the gym was cleaner overall. The price is great, the casual entry is so cheap compared to everywhere else, and It's worth a try if you want the best bang for your buck.
Best gym in the west nnVisited Mick’s Gym today and honestly loved the vibe. Mick is very polite and welcoming, and the girl at the front desk was also really nice and helpful.nnThe gym itself is huge with lots of hardcore machines and proper equipment for serious training. You can tell this place is made for people who actually want to train hard.nnOnly downside for me is the contracts, and they got only one branch but overall an amazing gym experience.
Awesome gym! It has everything you could want - a great mix of old-school and modern equipment, including heavy dumbbells over 60kg. It really ticks every box of what a great gym should offer.
Unfriendly staff. Also they keep charging you 30 days after you've cancelled your membership? Money grab. I said they were unfriendly not impolite. There is a difference.
I am starting out on a a fitness journey heading towards military enlistment, I was so unsure and nervous at first but the staff at the gym put me at ease very quickly and I am now 1 month in and looking forward to more :
