Don't bother getting a ring made here if you need to it by a certain date. I was told that the engagement ring I was getting made would be ready by the time I got back from overseas - so I went in the next day to enquire - the girl that served me was fairly unsympathetic and told me that I would have to wait another 4 days for the ring to be ready - which also didn't include the engraving that they were supposed to have organized for me in this time. Four days might not sound that long but there was also an internal note attached to my documents that said the ring was supposed to have been delivered six days prior to when I came in - so in total it is running ten days late (plus however long engraving will take) and throughout this whole thing I received no communication from MHJ that there were any delays. So you can imagine our disappointment coming home from Hawaii where we engaged with an el cheapo placeholder ring only to find that the one I got made specifically for my fiancée wasn't ready when it was supposed to be. Thanks Christ I didn't need it by a specific date...like a wedding or something!
