What a wonderful place. Everything is so delicious but a little bit expensive. I ordered the S'mores Hot Chocolate $13,50 and it was so good at the beginning. The chocolate on the top is dark chocolate. Also ordered the Apple Crumble Tart $13. This is really good. WOW. Just WOW.
One of our favourite dessert store in Auckland. They are next to the Channel and Tiffany shops at the Britomart. Every piece just like an art. It’s all tempted. It is really hard to pick up what to try because they all look yummy and lovely.
After hearing rave reviews about Miann, I finally went with my sister who is an avid fan of the place. And I can totally see or in this case taste why this is. The space is small but quaint. The array of desserts are delectable. We had the tasting platter which I recommend for newbies. The macarons are not sickly sweet which I've typically found to be the case. The ice creams and sorbets are delicious and taste how they're described. The staff are super friendly and accommodating which definitely adds to the experience.
This place was on my dessert list for some time now and got a chance today to go. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the one that severed us today was so sweet and I mean it... as a high schooler I only had coins with me.. she waited patently till all the way will I counted each and every coin and cents early in the morning like at 10am. So costumer service was so supper friendly.... The interior yield comfort and classiness , and the exterior was perfect to enjoy the surroundings. Would recommend this place if you want to have a break from outside or for coffee and dessert dates. Worth the price.
Great place for a rich dessert or afternoon tea or just because you feel like something sweet. There is a variety of cheesecakes, tarts and hot beverages and much more. Great location and they are usually quite busy so seating can be limited. You can also order your dessert to enjoy at home if preferred. I'd strongly recommend trying the tasting platter - you get a sample of most of what is on offer - it could be balanced out a bit more but it is good value. The biscuits in my milk shake were SO tasty and would be perfect with a cuppa Earl Grey of course. Hot cross bun is pretty decent during the Easter season - make sure you ask for a spot of butter. They don't have iced tea on the menu but the friendly staff whipped one up for me and it hit the spot. Iced tea should really be added to the menu now that I think about it!
Desserts are only nice but Small, expensive and not so good. Ice cream came kind of melted. My latte... I ordered it large and it was a tiny glass. I ordered a brownie and like 80% is cream and chocolate covered, only the thin base is brownie bread. I ordered NY cheesecake and they served Choco-Cheesecake was ok but not impressed.
The macaroons are to die for and so are the deserts. The hot chocolate is super rich and thick! A great place for a hot date or take aways. It is expensive but worth the treat- you get what you pay for
I was not impressed with this eating establishment. The coffee was bitter if you like bitter espresso, this is the place for you. I ordered the Christmas Bauble. Online description of as follows: Milk chocolate mousse, Dulce de leche chocolate creameaux , Chocolate brownie & Hazelnut Sable. This dessert had practically no flavor. The only positive was that it had a nice creamy consistency, but that's it. I also ordered 3 different flavored macarons, all of which tasted almost identical. If it weren't for my partners dessert, I would have given this cafe 1 star. He ordered a lemon meringue dessert which was quite good.
used to come here a lot before covid, used to love this place so much, but I feel that now the desserts are very expensive, they don’t taste as good as before and I was disappointed with the Easter macarons I got, taste good but bunny look a bit strange..
Thursday evening. Unsure what happend but very limited offer of desserts Covid? : And they looked kinda sad. No pistachio baklava ice-cream either. Staff seemed a bit confused.. The food and hot chocolate were good just not what it used to be
